Islamabad: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets presented a magnificent aerial salute to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, upon his entry into Pakistani airspace on Wednesday.

As a gesture of hospitality and brotherhood, a six-aircraft formation of PAF fighter jets escorted the aircraft of the distinguished guest immediately after it entered Pakistan's airspace, forming a protective aerial cordon and symbolizing warmth and respect for the visiting Uzbek leader.

During the escort, the formation leader conveyed a heartfelt welcome to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on behalf of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan.

The ceremonial aerial salute reflected the Pakistan Armed Forces' strong commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

The dignified aerial reception stood as a clear manifestation of goodwill, mutual respect, and longstanding friendship, highlighting the shared bonds of brotherhood between the two countries.
