ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has summoned meeting of Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on August 02 in connection with appointment of permanent Chief Justice (CJ) of Peshawar High Court (PHC).

The meeting will deliberate over appointment of Justice Muhammad Ibrahim as CJ PHC

Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan is acting CJ PHC at present.

The office of CJP PHC had fallen vacant due to elevation of Justice Musarrat Hilali to SC.
