Peshawar: Petition has been filed in the court seeking registration of Abuse of Trust case (Amanat ma Khiyanat) against Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur.
Sessions Court Peshawar has issued notice to respondents on the petition filed under section 22-A for registration of case against Ali Amin Gandapur besides seeking reply on July 12.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Asmat Ullah Wazir took up the case for hearing Thursday.
Counsel for the petitioner took the plea CM KP provided funds of Rs 5 crore to Lahore Bar Association (LBA) which was trust of people of this province.
Due to irrelevant use of fund, trust was abused. CM KP has no more remained Sadiq (Truthful) and Amin (honest) .
The counsel informed the court such use of public fund is not acceptable under several clauses of constitution and in the light of decisions of Supreme Court (SC).
He said the applications were given to concerned police officers for registration of case but no heed was paid.
The petitioner prayed the court to
issue order to the concerned respondents to register case against CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur.
The court while issuing notice to all respondents adjourned the further hearing of the case till July 12.
