Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CDF), visited Gujranwala and Sialkot Garrisons today. Upon arrival, he was briefed on the formations' operational readiness and key initiatives to strengthen combat preparedness.

The Field Marshal observed field training exercises and the advanced simulator training facility, praising the formations for their professional standards and overall state of readiness. He highlighted the importance of technological adaptability in modern warfare, noting the need for agility, precision, situational awareness, and rapid decision-making.

While interacting with officers and soldiers, Field Marshal Munir lauded their high morale and steadfast commitment to national security. He emphasized rigorous, mission-oriented training and reiterated that the Pakistan Army remains fully focused on internal and external challenges, including hostile hybrid campaigns, extremist ideologies, and divisive elements threatening national stability.

On his arrival at Gujranwala, the COAS and CDF was received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
