Hearing of 11 cases related to May 9 adjourned, attendance of Imran, marked on jail rubkar

Rawalpindi: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has adjourned till January 3 hearing of 11 cases related to May 9 incident.

The attendance of PTI founder Imran Khan was marked on Adiala jail rubkar.

11 cases related to May 9 tragedy came up for hearing in ATC Rawalpindi led by Judge Amjid Ali Shah Saturday.

The process of distributing copies of challan of these cases could not be completed. A few accused appeared in the court.

Former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad appeared in the court and he returned after getting his attendance marked.

These 11 cases include GHQ Gate-4 attack case, Army museum attack, torching building of sensitive institution and attack on metro bus station.

The court has decided to `complete the process of distribution of copies of challan of cases and indict the accused on next date.

The investigation officers of all respective police stations have been directed to appear with record.

Attendance of former prime minister Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was marked on jail rubkar.
