Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions (CCoIGCT).

The Committee reviewed ongoing initiatives relating to privatization of state-owned entities. Discussions focused on finalizing G2G arrangements designed to ensure smooth transfer of assets to enhance efficiency, and strengthen the role of private sector participation in line with broader economic reforms.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Finance, Advisor on Privatization, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Minister of State for Railways, along with federal secretaries of Cabinet, Privatization, and Law, as well as senior officials from the relevant ministries and departments.
