Islamabad: PPP staged walk out from National Assembly (NA) on Friday against Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz statement.

As per media reports PPP staged walk out from the house presided over by speaker Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq against Maryam Nawaz statement.

PPP leader Naveed Qamar said we had voiced protest here and then government team came come and we held talks with it. But on ground situation is as it is. No change has come. We cannot become part of this house unless situation changes. We walk out from the house under protest.

Later ruling party members wooed back PPP members to house.

Maryam Nawaz had said that she was given lecture to seek funds from other countries but she will not say to people to extend begging bowl. She will not allow the self respect to be hurt. she will not apologize to any one.

On the other side journalists also condemned the violence and rioting by police in National Press Club Islamabad and staged walk out from press gallery.

It is pertinent to mention here that Islamabad police had intruded into National Press club Islamabad Thursday and subjected the journalists to violence besides causing damage to property.

The journalists community from across the country had expressed immense reservations over it besides demanding transparent probe into the matter.
