Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has withdrawn arrest warrants in respect of interior secretary in contempt of court case for not restoring the national identity card of a citizen.
Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sarfraz Dogar remarked you would have called the other citizen and heard him before passing order.
Interior secretary assured to decide the application of the citizen.
The contempt of court case on not restoring the national identity card of citizen came up for hearing in IHC Tuesday.
CJ IHC Sarfraz Dogar took up the case for hearing.
The court issued arrest warrants of interior secretary for not deciding representation. These were withdrawn on appearance of interior secretary in the court.
Interior secretary appeared in the court along with IG Police Islamabad after issuance of arrest warrants.
It was told in the court that interior secretary had sent representation to NADRA with speaking order.
