Islamabad: Court has cancelled bail of Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali in controversial tweets case and ordered to arrest them.
The controversial tweets case against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha came up for hearing before additional district and sessions judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka Thursday.
Hadi Ali Chatha appeared in the court and said Imaan Mazari herself wants to cross question witness Shahroz. She herself wants to ask some questions from him.
Judge Afzal Majoka said " complete the cross examination of witness Shahroz otherwise I will end the right to cross examination.
Chaudhry Naeem Gujjar president Islamabad District Bar appeared in the court praying the court for giving the date of Monday. Later no adjournment will be sought. Imaan Mazari is unwell and she wants to cross question by herself.
Prosecution opposed the plea for seeking adjournment taking the plea that court should administer oath to the witness and start cross questioning.
President Bar Naeem Gujjar and Prosecution exchanged bitter remarks with each other.
Judge Afzal Majoka left the court and went to chamber when bitterness intensified between president Bar Naeem Gujjar and prosecutor Rana Usman.
Interval was announced during the hearing of the case.
Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha did not appear in the court after interval.
The court cancelled the bail of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha besides ordering to arrest and present both of them before it.
The court ended the right of cross examination of the accused persons. Statement will be recorded under 342 tomorrow.
Hearing of the case was adjourned till tomorrow.
