Karachi: Court has summoned 10 accused including former IG Sindh in corruption reference of millions of rupees.

The corruption reference came up for hearing before Provincial Anti Corruption Court (PACC) Saturday.

The court summoned 10 accused including former IG Sindh in corruption case.

The court issued notices to 10 accused persons including former IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali.

The accused persons have been directed to appear before court on July 9 in person. Warning has been issued of legal action in case of their non appearance.

The accused in the case include former DIG Faisal Bashir Memon , former SSP Tanvir Ahmad Tahir and others.

According to prosecution the accused are charged with making illegal deductions from police employees salaries, corruption and misuse of powers.
