Karachi citizens donated record number of sacrificial hides to Alkhidmat on Eid-ul-Adha

Karachi: During the Eid-ul-Adha sacrificial hide collection campaign, citizens donated a record number of animal hides to Alkhidmat. In addition, hundreds of sacrificial animals were offered by philanthropists under the Fee Sabeelillah Qurbani (charitable sacrifice) initiative.The sacrificial meat was distributed by Alkhidmat volunteers among deserving families in Gadap and other suburban areas of Karachi, benefiting thousands of households. The hide collection campaign was monitored by Executive Director Rashid Qureshi and Qurbani Project In-Charge Sarfaraz Sheikh, who ensured efficient and well-organized arrangements.During visits to the sacrificial hide collection and Fee Sabeelillah Qurbani centers, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Acting Ameer Karachi Saifuddin Advocate, Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Toufeequddin Siddiqui, Alkhidmat Chief Executive Naveed Ali Baig, Director Diagnostic Services Dr. Azeemuddin, Director Bano Qabil Program Farooq Kamilani, and Director WASH Pro gram Gohar-ul-Islam appreciated the arrangements made by Alkhidmat.In his special statement, Alkhidmat Chief Executive Naveed Ali Baig thanked the people of Karachi for donating a record number of sacrificial hides to Alkhidmat. He said that Karachiites once again demonstrated their trust in Alkhidmat by donating a record number of hides compared to 2025.He stated that this spirit of generosity is highly commendable and reflects the unparalleled confidence that people have in Alkhidmat. Naveed Ali Baig further said that, as in previous years, Alkhidmat arranged hundreds of Fee Sabeelillah (Waqf) Qurbanis during Eid-ul-Adha this year as well. Philanthropists participated enthusiastically, while Alkhidmat volunteers delivered the sacrificial meat directly to deserving and needy families at their homes.Hundreds of Alkhidmat volunteers actively participated in this humanitarian effort. He added that Alkhidmat had established collective Qurbani centers across the city, providing citizens with the opportunity to participate in organized sacrificial services. People took part with great enthusiasm in fulfilling the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).He further stated that the funds generated through the collection of sacrificial hides are utilized for Alkhidmat's welfare and humanitarian projects. 'People in Pakistan and around the world place their trust in Alkhidmat because of its commitment to serving humanity,' he concluded
