Peshawar: Former speaker National Assembly (NA) and PTI leader Asad Qaisar has said government has made no contact for talks after reports about our protest and instead government tried to put more pressure on us.

He said this while talking to media men here Friday.

He held Senate election be announced immediately and province be given its right.

He added dilatory tactics are being used for Senate polls. The atmosphere was made earlier that what decision has to be given by Supreme Court.

Decision has not come as yet but they are sure they will increase their seats in Senate. Constitutional crisis was generated by depriving the province of Senate. Enmity has been increased with one province that they are not providing its due funds. They are not holding Senate polls.

He went on to say democracy is left here in the name only. Drama is being enacted for Senate polls.

If Chief Election Commissioner has any morality he should step down, he said adding election commissioner held the worst ever election of history. He took the certificate of stealing votes of people in his own head.

He underlined what crisis was created by Chief Election Commissioner will stay for long time in the country.

Government made no contact with us after the news about protest. Government instead tried to put more pressure on us. It put pressure on us for two to three years. But they came to know the real situation on February 8.

Situation has slipped out of their hands in Balochistan, Sindh, Kashmir and even Karachi.

The supremacy of constitution is must to run the country. They will have to think with all seriousness.

Country has been made banana Republic at present.
