Islamabad: District and Sessions Court Islamabad while accepting bail plea of journalist Waheed Murad has ordered to release him in a case registered against him under cyber crime act.

The court accepted bail plea of journalist Waheed Murad against the surety worth Rs 50000. However court reduced the surety amount to Rs 20000 on the request of the journalist.

FIA presented journalist Waheed Murad in the court of judicial magistrate Abbas Shah on completion of two days physical remand.

Counsel Imaan Mazari argued the posts about which they are saying now owned by Waheed Murad, one post is post of Akhtar Mengal which is his statement.
