Islamabad: Journalist Bilal Ghauri who is arrested under PECA act was presented in the court on Monday. Magistrate Malik Aman handed over him to NCCIA on three days physical remand.

During the hearing of the case investigation officer of NCCIA requested the court for giving 10 days physical remand of Bilal Ghauri saying recovery of U-Tube and X account is required. Further investigation is needed in this regard.

Manzala Habib counsel for the journalist took the plea vlog was uploaded on September 5 but no notice was given and arrest was made directly.

The counsel said what impression has been made in respect of our courts is not correct.

Second counsel Imran Shafiq told the court the entire program is available on U-Tube. Not a single world is therein which is wrong or based on falsehood.

After hearing the arguments of the respondents magistrate approved 3 days physical remand of Bilal Ghauri and handed over him to NCCIA for further investigation.
