Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has declared null and void death sentence of the accused in the case of allegedly murdering the citizen at behest of fiancee.
A two members bench of LHC presided over by Justice Shehram Sarwar took up the appeal plea for hearing Thursday.
Justice Shehram Sarwar remarked case was registered against unknown person then how he was nominated later.
The counsel for the plaintiff told the court pistol and motorcycle were recovered from the accused Nadir. CDR of the accused links him to the incident. It is requested to court to order for dismissing the appeal plea of the accused.
The LHC while rejecting the plea of counsel for plaintiff declared null and void the death sentence of the person accused in murdering the citizen at behest of fiancee.
It is pertinent to mention here case against the accused Nadir is registered in police station Tha Sheikhum Kasur.
Trial court had awarded death sentence to the accused Nadir.
