Karachi: Court has ordered to initiate criminal proceedings against woman ASP for filing forged medical certificate.

Court of Judicial Magistrate South has ordered to conduct criminal proceedings against SDPO Defence Nida Junaid.

Court of Judicial Magistrate South while issuing written order said the woman ASP had filed medical certificates on the show cause notice issued to her by the court due to her absence from the court .

The court had sought report about the medical certificates from the respective hospital .

The hospital declared the medical certificates fake which were presented by the woman police officer.

As per hospital report no visit or treatment or medical certificate was issued in the name of police officer on the said date. The documents presented by woman police officer don’t conform to hospital record. The certificates presented by the woman police officer have not been issued by the hospital.

The order said one more show cause notice was issued to woman police officer,

SDPO Defence took the plea the certificates were filed with good intent and if any mistake has been committed then it was unintentional.

The court remarked there is clear difference in signatures.

Presenting the fake documents by showing them original is a crime. If officers are involved in such steps then the entire system is affected.

The woman police officer has committed misconduct . Police department can initiate departmental proceedings as per law. Direct complaint be filed against police officer for presenting fake documents.
