Rawalpindi:Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has ordered to abolish terrorism related clauses against the accused persons in Sidra Arab murder case of Pir Wadhai police station.
The court while rejecting the pleas by the prosecution for cancelling the bail of the accused persons has ordered to transfer the hearing of the case to sessions court.
The prosecution had filed plea in the court for cancellation of bail of the accused because of inclusion of terror clauses in the case.
10 accused persons including Ajmal Khan, Zia ur Rehman, Khial Muhammad, Muhammad Sohail, Abdul Salam, Sana Ullah, Arab Gul, Gul Badshah, Amir Khan and Sikandar were present in the court along with their lawyers.
Prosecution team along with investigation officer too was present in the court.
Prosecution had resorted to court for cancellation of bail of 10 accused persons.
The court had reserved judgment following hearing of the arguments of the counsels of the respondents and completion of hearing .
The court while announcing reserved judgment ordered to abolish terrorism clauses against the accused persons.
The court dismissed the prosecution plea seeking cancellation of bail of the accused and shifted the case to sessions court for trial.
