Rawalpindi: Additional district and Sessions Court has awarded life imprisonment to wife and death sentence to her paramour in the murder of husband case.

Judge Nadia Ikram Malik announced the decision of murder case.

The court has handed life imprisonment and fine amounting to Rs 4 lac to wife and death sentence and penalty of Rs 4 lac to her paramour Junaid Bhatti in murder of husband case.

7 years sentence and Rs 10000 fine was awarded to accused wife Sania for removing evidence of murder and 7 years sentence and Rs 10000 fine was handed to her under the offence of conspiracy and murder.

Paramour culprit Junaid was awarded 7 years imprisonment and fine Rs 10000 for entering into home.

The court ordered that the culprit Junaid be kept hanging till his death.

Sadiq Abad police registered case on April 27, 2025 and both the criminals wife of victim and paramour of his wife were shifted to Adiala jail.
