Court seeks arguments on damage claim of Rs 10 billions by Shehbaz Sharif against Imran Khan in defamation case


LAHORE: Sessions court has sought arguments on Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif damage claim of Rs 10 billion in defamation case against PTI founder.

Additional Sessions judge Muhammad Farhan Nabi of Sessions court Lahore issued written order regarding hearing of miscellaneous petition of Shehbaz Sharif.

It has been said in the court’s order that Saad Sibghat Ullah Sultan counsel for Shehbaz Sharif appeared in the court during the hearing of the case.

Mian Muhammad Hussain new counsel for Imran Khan presented his power of attorney in the court.

It was said in the written order of court that counsel for PTI founder said he was appointed counsel now in this case.

The counsel for PTI founder sought time for giving arguments on miscellaneous petitions.

The court summoned the counsels on August 13 for arguments on miscellaneous petition regarding damage claim of Rs 10 billions by Shehbaz Sharif against PTI founder.
