Court seeks reply from CM KP on the matter of establishment of Imran Khan Rehai Force”.

Islamabad: Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has sought reply from Chief Minister (CM) KP Sohail Afridi within 10 days on the matter of formation of " Imran Khan Rehai Force".

A 3-member bench of FCC presided over by Chief Justice Amin Ud Din Khan took up for hearing the petition filed against the establishment of Imran Khan Rehai Force'.

The court while issuing notice in this regard maintained government should make its stance clear on this matter.

The counsel for the petitioner took the plea in the court the formation of Imran Khan Rehai Force' can be in conflict with law and constitutional norms.

He presented different documents and evidence in the court. He also gave reference to articles in news paper in regard to threat.

The court inquired during the hearing of the case has cabinet given permission for establishment of such force.

The counsel for the petitioner replied no such permission has been given by the cabinet.

The court remarked federal government should ensure no violation of any sort is committed.

The chief justice remarked serious legal questions arise on formation of such force.

The council took the plea during the hearing of the case CM KP Sohail Afridi has said his competition is with dacoits.

However court has sought more clarification in this regard.

The court while seeking reply within 10 days adjourned the hearing of the case .

Chief Justice Amin Ud Din Khan remarked such force should not be established for convicted person.
