Court upholds arrest warrants of KP CM, declares several PTI leaders proclaimed offenders

Islamabad: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad while upholding arrest warrants of KP Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi has declared several PTI leaders proclaimed offenders. The case related to martyrdom of police man during October 4 protest came up for hearing in ATC Islamabad.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of ATC Islamabad heard the case. During the hearing of the case the again arrest warrants of Sohail Afridi were upheld . The court upheld the order on declaring former opposition leader Umar Ayub, Amir Mughal, Hafiz ur Rehman and others proclaimed offenders.

PTI leader Azam Swati appeared in the court. Trial to his extent was kept continued. The statements of prosecution witnesses will be recorded today and the proceedings of the case will be taken forward.

This case was registered due to incident related to martyrdom of policeman during October 4 protest.

This case is registered against PTI leaders in police station Noon Islamabad.
