Islamabad: Federal ministers while terming 190 million pounds case decision the biggest decision of country history have said PTI founder has failed in presenting solid evidence.

" Getting approval of closed envelope from cabinet in itself is major crime. The courts have to decide about his release, this was said by law minister Azam Nazir Tarar while addressing a press conference along with information minister Atta Ullah Tarar here Friday.

Azam Nazir Tarar said Al-Qadir trust matter came before the cabinet when we came to power in 2022. Hassan Nawaz too was part of this matter. However he became clear in investigation.

When UK crime agency investigated it cleared completely the matter of Hassan Nawaz. Then the matter reached Bahria Town. 190 million pounds was adjusted. This matter came before cabinet again. Law is that if a matter is cleared then such disputed amount should be returned to people of country.

190 million pounds were to be returned to the state. This case ran for one year. Evidence were recorded.

Information minister Atta Ullah Tarar said 190 million pound was mega corruption case of the history of Pakistan. Defence counsel fought this case politically.

It has been said in the decision PTI founder could not present solid evidence in the court.

Al-Qadir Trust was made to whiten black money, he added.
