IHC removes objection on Imran Khan review petition with regard to jail facilities, orders to fix it on Monday

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC)while removing objection over review petition filed by PTI founder Imran Khan with reference to jail facilities has directed to fix it for hearing on Monday.

Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq heard the petition along with registrar office objection Friday.

Faisal Chaudhry counsel for PTI founder appeared in the court.

The court inquired what have you challenged.

Faisal Chaudhry said we have challenged trial court order in this.

IHC while removing registrar office objection directed to fix the petition for hearing on Monday.

The petition said Special judge central court judge Shah Rukh Arjumand issued order with regard to jail facilities on January 10.

Court should issue order for stopping misuse of trial court order and meeting norms of justice as per law and constitution.

It was requested in the petition facilities are not being provided despite presence of high profile prisoner in jail. Attitude of Jail authorities runs contrary to law and constitution. Facilities be provided as per law and constitution.
