Lahore: Detention of PTI leader and member AJK assembly Ghulam MohiyuddDin has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC).Petition has been filed by wife of Ghulam Mohiyuddin through counsel Mian Ali Ishfaq making government of Punjab, deputy commissioner Lahore and jail superintendent respondents.The petitioner took the plea Ghulam Mohiyuddin is member of Azad Kashmir Assembly and a law abiding person. His detention is sheer violation of article 9 of the constitution.It was further said in the petition that Ghulam Mohiyuddin was detained on political basis. This step by deputy commissioner is absolutely illegal.It was further requested in the petition that order be issued for presenting Ghulam Mohiyuddin in the court. His detention be suspended and order for his release be issued.
