Lahore: Petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) for stopping PTI public meeting in Lahore.The petitioner Mirza Wahid Rafiq filed petition in LHC through advocate Nadim Sarwar making deputy commissioner Lahore, PTI and others respondents.The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that several petitions have been filed in LHC in connection with PTI public meeting in Lahore. Deputy Commissioner Lahore is not giving permission to hold public meeting in view of terrorism.Advocate Nadim Sarwar said in his petition hate speeches are delivered in PTI public meetings. Last public meeting was held by PTI in Minar-e-Pakistan. The speech of Chief minister KPK Ali Amin Gandapur is on record.It has been said in the petition that speeches against the judiciary are made in PTI public meetings. The constitutional institutions are insulted by delivering speeches against them. PTI and PML-N are political rivals. There is threat of bloodshed.It was requested in the petition that PTI be stopped from holding Public meeting any where in Punjab.
