Rawalpindi: Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has categorically denied carrying out any attacks inside Afghanistan.
Talking to senior journalists today, he emphasized that Pakistan never targets civilians and does not engage in covert strikes.
He added any military action by Pakistan is undertaken only after being openly announced.
The DG ISPR described the allegations made by the Afghan interim government as baseless, making it clear that Pakistan does not distinguish between different groups of terrorists.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry further said certain social media accounts are propagating narratives against the State.
He also highlighted that the Balochistan Government is actively implementing the National Action Plan.
He stated that there should be no speculation regarding the court martial of former senior military officer Faiz Hamid.
Th`e Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) emphasised that the proceedings are part of a legal and judicial process. He added that once the implementation takes place and any decision is reached, the public will be informed accordingly.
