Karachi: DNA test of the central accused in abusing over 100 children has matched with 8 affected children. Following the arrest of central accused Imran in heinous crime of abusing over 100 children, the scope of the investigation has been broadened.

According to media report criminal record of the accused related to Punjab has been acquired. Cases of different nature are registered against the accused in Multan and surrounding areas. Sources said such 8 cases have come to open against the accused during the period from 2018 to 2023 which relate to sexual abuse of children, kidnapping and attempt for murder.

Sources said the wife of the accused had left her along with her children in 2024 and shifted to Faisalabad. .During this period the accused used to come to Punjab. According to sources the DNA of the accused has matched with 8 affected children. Further investigation from the accused is underway. He is handed over to police on four days remand.
