New york: United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday called for an immediate end to the ongoing war in Gaza.Addressing the 80th United Nations General Assembly at UN headquarters in New York City, Donald Trump said: "We have to stop the war in Gaza immediately. We have to immediately negotiate peace."Dozens of world leaders gathered at the United Nations to embrace a Palestinian state, a landmark diplomatic shift that faces fierce resistance from Israel and its close ally, the US.Trump rejected statehood for Palestinians, adopting the stance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
