Islamabad: Election Commission (EC) while giving one more opportunity to political parties to file annual statement of assets which have not filed the same so far has adjourned hearing of the case till November 21.Heads of 48 political parties were summoned for not filing annual statement of assets.A two members bench of EC led by Member Sindh Nisar Durrani heard the notices issued to 48 political parties which are registered with EC and have not filed annual statement of assets.Istehkam Pakistan Party, PTI Nazriati, MWM, Balochistan Awami party and several other parties did not appear before EC during the hearing of notices Wednesday.EC while giving time of further 15 days to these political parties for filing annual statement of assets adjourned the hearing till November 21.
