Islamabad: Election Commission (EC) has suspended its election schedule notification with reference to by polls in NA-1 Chitral.

It has been said in this regard EC suspended the notification in the light of Lahore High Court (LHC) order.

It is pertinent to mention here Justice Syed Arshid Ali and Justice Waqar Ahmad of Peshawar High Court (PHC) during hearing of petition against the disqualification of Abdul Latif Chitrali, MNA from NA-1 Chitral had ordered to stop by polls in the constituency a day yesterday .
