Islamabad: Key national and international matters came under discussion in cabinet meeting held under Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif here Thursday.

At the inception of the meeting PM took the cabinet into confidence in connection with his foreign visits, meetings and regional situation.

PM informed the cabinet members about internal situation, security challenges and Pakistan achievements at diplomatic level.

The meeting reviewed in details the activities of Fitna Alkhawarij and Fitna Al Hindustan.

Cabinet paid tribute to the jawans of Pakistan army who embraced martyrdom in war on terror. Solidarity was expressed with the families of the martyred soldiers.

They expressed determination to root out terrorism in its all forms and manifestations.

Cabinet committee decisions regarding inter governments trade matters were endorsed in the meeting.

Overseas employment and technical vocational education and training agenda also came under consideration.

Energy ministry presented detailed report on reforms in power sector in the meeting.
