Islamabad: Interior Minister Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi says Pakistan remains a frontline state in the global fight against terrorism.

Talking to Acting U.S. Ambassador Natalie Baker in Islamabad on Thursday, the Minister emphasized that Pakistan has borne a heavy cost to make the world safer from terrorism.

He said Pakistan's security forces, police, and citizens from all walks of life have made countless sacrifices in this war.

Mohsin Naqvi commended U.S. President Donald Trump's sincere efforts for the Gaza Peace Agreement, stating that the credit for enduring peace in the Middle East goes to President Trump.

He also welcomed U.S. investment in Pakistan's mineral and other sectors.

In her remarks, Acting US Ambassador Natalie Baker said that the United States values Pakistan's sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and will continue its cooperation with Pakistan. She expressed condolences over the loss of lives in recent terrorist attacks.

Both sides also discussed Pak-U.S. relations and ways to enhance cooperation in multiple areas.

Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry was also present on the occasion.
