Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC).
According to the statement issued by the office of the Deputy Prime Minister, the meeting considered and approved the Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Project at a cost of Rs. 212 billion. The project will establish a state-of-the-art tertiary care hospital with fully integrated services. While approving the project, ECNEC directed that the committee be set up to ensure financing for its execution and timely completion.
The meeting was attended by the Ministers for Planning, and Finance, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Provincial Ministers, and Federal Secretaries Cabinet, Planning, Finance, Health, and Economic Affairs Division (EAD).
