Islamabad: Power tariff has been curtailed by Rs 1.98 per unit under the head of quarterly adjustment in the country.

NEPRA has issued notification for reduction in the price of the electricity. According to notification price of electricity has been reduced under the head of quarterly adjustment.

The price has been decreased under quarterly adjustment from January to March 2026. The reduced tariff will be applicable for three months from June to August 2026.

This decision will extend relief over Rs 67 billion to consumers.

The notification says reduction in prices of electricity under quarterly adjustment will be applicable to K-Electric consumers as well.
