ET admits for hearing election petition against polls rigging in NA-53, PP-10

Rawalpindi: Election Tribunal (ET) of Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench comprising Justice (Retd) Abdul Shakoor Paracha has admitted for hearing the petition filed against polls rigging in National Assembly Constituency NA-53 and provincial assembly constituency PP-10 besides seeking reply from the respondents on October 24.Election petitions were filed by PTI candidate Ajmal Sabir from NA-53 and PTI candidate Chaudhry Amir Afzal from PP-10 making Election Commission (EC) respondent.PML-N candidates Qamar ul Islam and Naeem Ejaz had filed objections on both of the seats.EC abolished all the objections and admitted the petition for hearing.Qaisar Abbas Shah counsel for both the candidates appeared in the EC during preliminary hearing.The tribunal while issuing notice to the respondents sought reply till October 24.
