Karachi: Police have arrested facilitator of Imran Afridi major accused in murder of senior lawyer Khawaja Shams ul Islam from KP.

Senior lawyer Khawaja Shams ul Islam was murdered in Karachi on August 01.

As per media reports, significant progress has been made in investigation into high profile murder case of senior lawyer Khawaja Shams ul Islam.

One Hassan facilitator of major accused Imran Afridi has been taken into custody from KP . Car used in the murder case has also been recovered from the accused.

According to police sources the facilitator Hassan had fled the scene with the major accused Imran Afridi in his car after the offence.

Police is now trying to arrest the major accused by making investigation from the facilitator.

Car has also been recovered from possession of facilitator Hassan.

Hassan had fled KP by taking the main accused Imran Afridi in his car .

Police said raids are being conducted to arrest the major accused Imran Afridi.

On the other hand lawyers have observed strike in city court, Malir Court and other subordinate courts against murder of Khawaja Shams ul Islam and other lawyers. Hearing of the cases could not take place in these courts.
