Karachi: Farhan Ghani, PPP leader, brother of local bodies minister Sindh Saeed Ghani and chairman Chanesar town and other accused persons arrested in violence against government employee case have been released.

According to report, the plaintiff withdrew the case last night and later Farhan Ghani brother of PPP leader Saeed Ghani was released.

The other three accomplices of Farhan Ghani who are arrested in this case have also been released.

Counsel for Farhan Ghani said the plaintiff of the case Sohail had withdrawn the case on previous night. The plaintiff had filed application for withdrawing the case.

Counsel for accused Waqar Abbasi said the police while accepting the application released the accused under section 493.

Report regarding the release of the accused will be filed in the court.

The accused Farhan Ghani and his other accomplices were to be presented in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday on completion of physical remand.

It is pertinent to mention here the court had approved physical remand in respect of the accused persons till August 30 in violence against government employee case.

The case against the accused was registered in Firozabad Police station under terrorism act.
