Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday issued notifications announcing a series of appointments and transfers of senior officers in the Inland Revenue Service (IRS).

According to the notifications, BS-22 officer Saadia Sadaf Gilani has been appointed as Member, Federal Board of Revenue, while BS-22 officer Tehmina Amir has been posted as Member Audit.

Among the BS-21 appointments, Amina Hassan has been appointed Director General of the IRS Academy, Nabeela Faran as Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office (RTO) Rawalpindi, Faheem Muhammad as Director General Internal Audit, Faridullah Jan as Director General Tax Broadening, and Ayesha Farooq as Director General Information Technology, FBR.

In BS-20 appointments, Sajjad Akbar Khan has been posted as Chief Commissioner Hyderabad, Farhat Qayyum as Chief at the FBR, Yasser Pirzada as Director General Taxpayer Services, Adnan Inamullah Khan as Chief at the FBR, Noreen Yaqoob as Chief Commissioner RTO Sargodha, Yasmeen Fatima as Chief Commissioner RTO Islamabad, and Waqas Aslam as Commissioner Inland Revenue Zone-II.

The FBR said the appointments and transfers have been notified with immediate effect.
