Islamabad: Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has wrapped up the petition filed against the appointment of Vice Chancellor (VC) King Edward (KE) University.

The court maintained the present case could not be fixed for hearing in Supreme Court (SC) even 8 years of its filing.

Lahore High Court (LHC) had ordered Vice Chancellor Asad Aslam of KE university to continue to perform his duty.

the petitioner Iftikhar Ahamd had challenged the appointment of Vice Chancellor KE university.

During the hearing of the case in constitutional court no one appeared

The court maintained any respondent who is affected by the court decision can file the petition.
