Islamabad: ½Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi visited the FIA Headquarters. The Interior Minister met the newly appointed Director General FIA, Dr. Usman Anwar, and conveyed his best wishes. Mohsin Naqvi expressed hope that under the leadership of Dr. Usman Anwar, the FIA would emerge as a model institution. He said that Dr. Usman Anwar would utilize all his energies and capabilities to transform the FIA into an institution that meets public expectations. He further stated that he would fully support efforts to make the FIA a modern, strong, and effective organization.

½The newly appointed DG FIA, Dr. Usman Anwar said that the FIA would be brought to international standards through modern technology and training, and that all necessary measures would be taken to improve the institution.

½½Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the under-construction committee room at the FIA. During the meeting, it was decided to reconstruct and renovate the FIA Headquarters in line with modern needs.

½The Commandant National Police Academy, DG NCCIA, Inspector General Islamabad Police, and senior officers of the FIA were also present on the occasion.
