According to media reports, the FIR - filed at the Pahalgam Police Station - reveals inconsistencies that cast doubt on the authenticity of the attack. Notably, the police station is located approximately 6 kilometers from the site of the alleged incident. The FIR states that the attack occurred between 1:50 PM and 2:20 PM, but astonishingly, the FIR was officially registered just 10 minutes later at 2:30 PM.

Security experts suggest that the unusually swift registration of the FIR points toward a pre-planned script. Furthermore, the FIR names unidentified "cross-border terrorists" as the perpetrators - a narrative often used by the Indian government to attribute attacks to external elements.
