Attock: Five terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij have been killed during an exchange of fire between Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and terrorists near Attock.

According to CTD spokesperson CTD had conducted raid to arrest the terrorists. The terrorists had completed their planning for attacks in different areas of Punjab.

Security forces seized a suicide jacket, hand grenades, a submachine gun (SMG), ammunition, and explosive materials from the possession of terrorists.

CTD spokesperson said the process of identification of killed terrorists is continuing.

Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has appreciated CTD Punjab on successful operation against Fitna al-Khawarij in the area of Attock. Valiant jawans of CTD Punjab have foiled the nefarious designs of al-Khawarij.
