GOA: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers’ (CFMs) meeting in Goa on Thursday.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch on Thursday on twitter, during the meeting they discussed bilateral, regional and international matters of mutual interest.

Assured to work closely for further deepening cooperation in food security, energy and people to people contacts. SCO opens new vistas of cooperation and coordination with Russia. Foreign Secretary Dr. Asad Majeed Khan and Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch were also present during the meeting.
