Davos: Finance Minister (FM) Muhammad Aurangzeb has met President Asian Development Bank ( ADB) in Devos and the two agreed on reforms in energy sector and promotion of clean energy.

Pakistan-ADB relations have entered into new strategic phase.

According to communiqu© issued by finance ministry President ADB expressed satisfaction over economic reforms in Pakistan and market. He reiterated the resolve for cooperation with Pakistan.

FM informed him about dip in the inflation and economic stability. He also told that positive movement forward is witnessed on government steps regarding privatization and participation of private sector.

FM also met with Hassan El Houry chairman Menzies Aviation. The matters related to investment in aviation sector and betterment of airports came under discussion in the meeting.

The FM informed him about progress in privatization of PIA and major airports.

Menzies Aviation showed interest in enhancing investment in Pakistan.
