For expressing solidarity with Kashmiris, Bangladeshi Singer Fardin to release new song on Kashmir Black Day

Dhaka: For expressing solidarity with Kashmiris, Bangladeshi Singer Fardin, one of South Asia's most prominent and popular music artists, has announced the release of a new song dedicated to Kashmir Black Day, scheduled for October 27, 2025. Known for his cross-border appeal and multilingual repertoire, the singer aims to use his voice as a form of peaceful protest and solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

In a statement to the media, Fardin said, 'Kashmir is the paradise on Earth, but this paradise has been forcefully occupied. The suffering of my Muslim brothers and sisters inspired me to create this song.'

He added, 'I may not be able to go to war, but I can stand in protest through my music.'

The song is set to be released simultaneously across multiple Pakistani television channels and Pakistani embassies worldwide, pending final arrangements. The project marks a continuation of Fardin's increasing involvement in cultural diplomacy and advocacy through music.

Having already gained a massive following in both Bangladesh and Pakistan, Fardin is often referred to by fans as the 'Banglar Bhaijan' (Brother of Bengal). His previous work has earned him international recognition, including titles such as South Asian Icon and Diplomatic Cultural Ambassador.

While best known in Bangladesh for his contributions to Bangla music, Fardin has more recently focused on Urdu-language tracks, further expanding his influence in the region.

This upcoming release aims not only to commemorate Kashmir Black Day-a symbolic date marking the beginning of Indian control over the region in 1947-but also to reignite awareness about the ongoing struggles of Kashmiris. The full track and music video will be unveiled on October 27, 2025.
