Islamabad: Banking Court Islamabad has given two days time to FIA to complete challan against PTI founder Imran Khan in foreign funding case.

As per media reports, the case came up for hearing before judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar.

Special prosecutor Wasiq Malik appeared in foreign funding case.

During the hearing of the case judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar inquired you are doing what so far. why the challan has not been completed.

Upon it special prosecutor Wasiq Malik told the court that letters have been written to the concerned country to seek opinion in this case

Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar said this matter is running since 2022 and you have not taken interest in it so far.

The court remarked he is issuing order to issue show cause notice to investigation officer and to summon DG FIA on next hearing.

Special Prosecutor Wasiq Malik requested the court to give time for a week or 10 days so that challan could be completed. Show cause notice and order for summoning DG FIA be not given still.

Judge Abdul Ghafoor remarked he sees this matter.

The court directed prosecution to show its performance within two days.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till February 04.
