LAHORE: Former president Supreme Court Bar Association, former attorney general and retired chief Justice of Pakistan Malik Muhammad Qayyum has died.

Death of former Chief Justice Malik Muhammad Qayyum was confirmed by his family.

According to family, the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-janaza) of former attorney will be performed in Johar Town Lahore.

Justice (R) Malik Qayyum is the brother of interim health minister Punjab Dr. Javed Akram.

The deceased was former justice of Lahore High Court and former Attorney General of Pakistan.

He also was former president of Supreme Court Bar Association.
