Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that registration for Hajj 2027 will commence nationwide from June 22, with the process being completely free of charge.

According to the ministry, no registration fee will be collected from intending pilgrims and the registration process will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Authorities have made registration mandatory for all applicants seeking to perform Hajj under either the government or private Hajj schemes.

Officials clarified that no application for Hajj 2027 will be accepted without prior registration.

The ministry has also made it mandatory for applicants to possess a valid passport. The passport must remain valid until at least November 26, 2027.

Under the new arrangements, members of the same family will be allowed to complete the registration process jointly.

The facility has also been extended to overseas Pakistanis, enabling them to register for Hajj 2027 through the designated mechanism.

Registration can be completed through specified banks across the country, while intending pilgrims will also have the option of completing the process online from their homes.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a formal registration schedule and advised all prospective pilgrims to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe.

Officials said that only after registration will applicants be able to choose between the government and private Hajj schemes.

The announcement follows the recent approval of the Hajj Policy by the Federal Cabinet, paving the way for the launch of preparations and registration procedures for Hajj 2027.
