LAHORE:Frequent changes and increases in the prices of petroleum products have been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC).

Judicial Activism Panel has filed miscellaneous petition in LHC against frequent increase and decrease in the price of petroleum products.

According to stance of the petitioner, the prices of petroleum products was changed for 15 time from October 9 to 29. Price was enhanced for 11 times and decreased for 4 times.

It was said in the petition inflation has surged in the country due to increase in the prices of petroleum products. The citizens have been burdened under price hike.

The petitioner has prayed the court to seek complete record regarding determination of prices of petroleum products.
