Islamabad: Former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mushahid Hussain Syed said in his messages on the social media platform X that global public opinion has now decisively shifted against the United States and in favor of China.

According to him, Pakistan is among the top five countries that maintain friendly relations with the People's Republic of China. He claimed that a new global order, led by China, is now gaining the support of the majority of the world, while according to a Gallup Survey, China has surpassed the United States in global popularity.

He further stated that Western media coverage is largely influenced by factors such as race and religion. According to him, victims who are Black, Brown, or Muslim-whether African, Palestinian, Kashmiri, or Iranian students-are often reduced to mere statistics, whereas the life of an American pilot is given greater importance under the 'human interest' angle.
